GP Out-of-Hours is for urgent primary medical care when your GP surgery is closed. We ask that you telephone first. GP Out-of-Hours is available Monday to Friday from 6pm and 24/7 during Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Further information is available in Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). Note that GP Out-of-Hours do not insert or remove stitches, and cannot do blood tests or xrays. For suspected heart attacks or strokes telephone 999 directly.
You should contact GP Out-of-Hours if you or the person you are phoning for urgently need to speak to a GP and cannot wait to see their own GP during normal working hours.
